Our History

Auzac was founded in 1945 and started manufacturing spelter sockets in 1974. For almost half a century, we have been manufacturing wire rope terminal fittings such as spelter sockets, dead eye thimbles and turnbuckles. In addition to spelter sockets, the history also manufactures custom-made lifting products such as hooks and lifting beams.

AUZAC 70th Anniversary Video

This video was made to commemorate the 70th anniversary of Auzac's founding in 1945.
Tomonoura City, in Hiroshima Prefecture, where Auzac is based, prospered in the old days through trade in the port. It was a town with smiths and a thriving manufacturing industry focused on ship-building.
For the past 70 years, Auzac has grown together with the community. We have always valued the power of people as the foundation of manufacturing.
As we continue to support the rigging and lifting industries, we hope to be a company that lasts for 100 years.
